About Quality Custom Molding - Hermann, MO
Quality Custom Molding (QCM) began in Linn, Missouri in 1902 producing crafted metal products. In the mid 1960 QCM diversified into custom blow molding and injection molding. As technologies evolved and customers’ needs shifted, Quality Custom Molding began providing custom blow molding services and related ancillary services to OEMs and retail markets in a wide-range of industries: lighting, construction, agriculture, medical, marine, toys, sport goods, automotive, lawn & garden, and pet products, among others.
In 2023 QCM moved to Hermann, Missouri and has been able to better respond to the needs of OEM’s and retail markets throughout the Midwest and abroad. Our 97,000-square-foot facility, including a maintenance department and machine shop, is outfitted with the blow molding machinery and robotic trimming equipment for process automation and adept manufacturing.

Since joining Joint Quality Custom Molding in 2012 in an administrative role, Michelle has gained comprehensive insight into the entire process and customer relations. Now serving as plant manager, she acts as the central figure in our operations: a manufacturing setting demands a commitment to quality and efficiency, which hinges on the smooth collaboration of various small teams. Michelle ensures that this synergy improves day by day.

Since he became part of QCM in 2004, Jimbo has gained expertise in all facets of our machinery. Our blow machines are designed for durability and can last a lifetime with the right maintenance. Jimbo is essential in ensuring that machines are available and in facilitating seamless production shifts during downtime. His enthusiasm for data drives him to provide analyses that help us make continuous improvements.
Larry Schaefer

Larry became part of the team in 2023 after QCM's relocating to Hermann, bringing with him over three decades of expertise in plastics processing and manufacturing. He has tackled and excelled in every conceivable process. With his extensive experience in the industry, Larry guarantees that we have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the infrastructure. He also turning himself into a machinist.

Mark entered the world of entrepreneurship in 2019 with the purchase of QCM, following a successful 25+ year tenure in the international chemical industry. His main objective has been to foster partnerships with customers, key suppliers, and stakeholders. Mark is dedicated to establishing QCM as a reliable and trusted ally for its customers, taking meaningful steps forward every week.
