About Quality Custom Molding – Hermann, MO
Quality Custom Molding (QCM) began producing highly crafted metal products in 1902 but diversified into blow molding and injection molding in the mid-1960s. As technologies evolved and customers’ needs shifted, Quality Custom Molding began providing custom blow molded products and related ancillary services to OEMs and retail markets in a wide-range of industries: lighting, agriculture, medical, marine, toys, sport goods, automotive, lawn & garden, and pet products, among others.
Centrally located in Hermann, Missouri, QCM has responded to the needs of OEM’s and retail markets throughout the Midwest and abroad. Our 97,000-square-foot facility, including a maintenance department and machine shop, is outfitted with the latest in blow molding machinery and robotic trimming equipment for process automation and adept manufacturing.

Meet Our Team
Owners
Kristin and Mark Volmer bought QCM in Q1 2019. Mark worked as an executive in the international chemical industry and has a wide experience in the commercial space for B2B and manufacturing. Kristin has been a professional in the health care industry. Together they intend to make QCM a company that respects its customers and employees and stakeholders.
Plant / Processing Manager
Melvin has over 10 years with QCM and is the plant and processing manager. In his 30 years of experience in blow molding plastic parts he has seen a few challenges: if it can be blow molded, Melvin has done it.
Quality, 5S and Customer Service
Michelle Reinert has more than 10 years with QCM and is responsible for the Quality Management, the implementation of 5S and customer service. If that sounds overwhelming, you don't know Michelle yet.
Automation and Mold Management
Jeremy has extensive experience gained at different tooling houses and machine shops. If parts need further processing, Jeremy will design and build the necessary tooling for it.
Quality Inspection
Georgie Wilbers is with QCM for 4 years. She started as an operator and now being the eyes of our customers on the production floor ensuring we keep the quality standards agreed.
